Loquat container growing

I'm wanting to buy 2 Loquat trees (Gold Nugget and Champagne) but i'm not sure about planting them just yet and was thinking of keeping them in containers for a few years. How long can Loquats be grown in a container? I want to slowly step them up from a 3 gallon to a 15 gallon over the years.

I have a Christmas loquat in a container, I think it is on its 3rd year now since I bought it.  It seems happy enough in the container but I haven't had to prune or root-prune it yet.  I believe I have it in a 15gal now.  Last year the wind knocked a lot of branches off so I guess it got some unwanted pruning from that.

I had five loquats I grafted in 3 gallon pots. I gave 2 away and kept
three.I wanted them to grow fast and put them in a good potting mix
with rabbit manure, compost, and coffee grounds mixed in. I bumped them
to a 7 and then to a 15 in about a year and a half and then planted in
the ground last Spring. The two I gave away to my neighbor and sister
are half the size of mine but are also in the ground now.

You can keep them potted for some years, they are one of the easiest fruits to grow.
Like all fruit tree’s , once they have sized up for planting out , if you have room to plant out, pick a well thought out spot and plant it.
