My 8 year VP Mango isnt blooming for two years now...
« on: January 31, 2023, 10:18:08 AM »
I am in South Florida. Looks like my Velncia Pride not blooming again. Didnt bloom last year. Before that it produced good. Any help from you guys? All the Mangos in neighborhood are blooming. Also...my 4 year old pickering is blooming but not my 4 year Carrie...which looks light green to me.
Little info... both of the VP and Carrie got a black fungus in fall of 2021 and I treated with copper.
Anyway first pic is of VP. Second pick is of Carrie and Pickering side by side.
Thanks

My Pickering is flowering heavy and my NDM is starting to flower.
My mallika hasn't started. YET
It's still early I wouldn't panic yet. I have heard that VP usually flowers
every other year but I don't have one. There is one in my friends yard
and his did fruit the past two years.

Decrease fertilizer, decrease watering, increase sunshine on the tree.
