No it’s not an Atemoya you have no idea what yr talking about.

Fine then sugarlata if genetics are half sugar apple half reticulata….prior poster said it was part cherimoya but apparently other saying it is not.  For what it’s worth it does look like a sugarlata.  Still no need to make duplicate names.  There are already too many duplicate annoying names in annona world like “custard apple”.  Soon the annona world might end up like the garcinia nomenclature

Looks like african pride type 2 to me.

Type 1 is seedy
Type 2 not seedy at all and has wasp hive like contours

Ap2 also smells unique…like a musty asian wet market with rotting fruit
Ap2 also has rubber like texture to meat

I had same experience Kevin.

It was so weird…like the roots “jumped” out of the seed, and also manually helped remove cotyledon

Newb at DF, I have purple haze, dark star, and American beauty.  Should I get a variety that is a prolific pollinator to help pollinate the others? Or not necessary

Located in central Fl

Also if anyone in central florida has a rare grafted atemoya, would consider trading for one of my 1gal grafted la habra sun or arka sahan atemoyas

Atemoya (geffner, lisa, dream)
Mamey/green sapote
Jaboticaba (especially red)
Mango (especially LZ, fruit punch, sugarloaf, CC)
Sapodilla (especially darker types like Tikal)

45 min from titusville

Have a bunch of large trees to get rid of
7gal orange sherbert mango
7gal super julie mango
15gal sapote
PPC atemoya
25gal fruiting sabara jaboticaba
25gal red sugar apple (has heavily fruited in past)
45gal approx excalibur mango (fruited in past)

don't plant the rollinia if you're in north orlando.  only if closer to kissimmee

My big 15gal cherilata is grafted onto pond apple.
I also grafted a cherilata 3 wks ago and still alive on cherimoya

You guys looking for this?    ;)
I'll sell as many scions as I can later in year in february, locally in deltona, Fl.  won't ship.  PM me then
