I'm not an Annonaceae expert. It could be a Rollinia/Annona emarginata, but fruit seems quite bigger. In which part of Paraguay did you collect? It could reveal itself a little cold-hardy :)

yes i think so its very big to be a ROllinia emarginata...center of paraguay.

If this tree was quite big (tall) - Rollinia laurifolia, habitat in Paraguay and nearest Brazil region.
Close relative of R. salicifolia and R. sylvatica.

Interesting. Not sure what it would be, but a sweet fleshed Rollinia is always good.
The hardest plants to grow are often those most worth growing.
