« on: July 15, 2017, 11:20:54 AM »
Very happy my Longan graft took out of two graft's one took which makes me very happy ;D A member sent me 3-different varieties of longan. I didn't have room for all the scions so I grafted two on seedlings i had and shared other scion's with friend Jack S. who grafted other scions to his two trees which where outside. This was a veneer graft done in first week of March.

Excellent work!! You did this earlier in the season too when it was a lot cooler. What variety is this?

And thanks Robert as I now have a strong growing Kahala grafted on one of my seedling trees.  It was multitrunked but is now cut back to just the Kahala trunk.  Seedling trees always flowered, but never set fruit.  Now maybe Kahala will set fruit.

Thanks Simon,Xshen,Jack, Xshen that was the Biew Khiew that took for me the seedlings were and are in G.H. We have had cool summer here close to coast where I'am at so not sure if I should but them (Longan's) outside but i think I'am going to just need to find a good spot!
