I think pungaro is G. macrophylla. It only took 4 years to flower or it has been flowering but just "practicing" and aborting for 4 years?

Is different grow habit and leafs . First year, is one G.sp
Some garcinias like my "dulcis " bear fruits in 2 years. Garcinias are so many. I only can distinguish 4 or 5.

My macrophylla has also been dragging its sorry arse and flowered for 2 seasons now and its 6 years old.

Did you know that garcinias are the living proof of the existence of Pangea millions years ago ? Look all the tropics. Rheedia and garcinias along the tropics Cuba,Mejico, Asia,África and Puerto Rico. Palo de cruz  (Garcinia portoricensis .
