Kwai Muk (artocarpus hypargyaeus) grafting
« on: August 06, 2021, 12:08:48 PM »
Hi All I have 2 Kwai Muk seedlings that are getting to tall and spindly and would like to prune down and graft the trimmings to jack fruit seedlings, what is the best time to do this? I was thinking a cleft graft would work but open to some ones experience

We routinely prune Kwai muk to shape the two trees we have that are about 4-5 years old.
I would be pretty surprised if you could graft Kwai muk to Jakfruit.

Please don't tell me that Peter! I really thought I read on this form  before  that you could use jackfruit as root-stalk,  now I need to go do some research
