Canistel pushes leaves but not roots
« on: July 25, 2023, 07:06:02 PM »
I got a small canistel, Bruce or Ross don't remember.  It pushed some leaves, then basically dropped everything and couldn't recover.

I dug it out and the roots had some white stuff on them. Put it in a pot and it has pushed leaves again. However, there is no root ball, it's like roots are not growing. If I gently pull the trunk, it looks like is the roots are not "stuck" to the soil.

Any ideas about what's going on? Because it's so weird it's pushing leaves when roots are not growing.

Likely too much water and not enough time. Is it in shade?
