Very rare species sir Dada! I have a small question regarding "Annona nutans". Its taste is sweet but... (missing something).
Is the fruit small and/or having many seeds?

The tree itself is a dwarf , I was told it does not grow taller than 2 Meters, it likes sandy soil and a more dry climate. Fruits are about Golfball size and have up to 6 seeds inside. It is sweet with a distinct pleasant but not overwhelming flavor!
Annona nutans.  It's endemic all the way down to parts on Argentinea, and is quite a cold hardy species.....is extremely uncommon. Its very similar to Annona cornifolia but A. cornifolia is more endemic to the Cerrado areas of Brazil.   The fruit is similar in size and colour to a degree but slightly different....cornifolia is slightly orange.

For those chasing a more cold hardy Annona they have...A. nutans, cornifolia, rugulosa, cacans, sylvatica, montana, atemoya, cherimoya, neosalicifolia and coriacea. There maybe some others but this is based on elevation and also on low land areas but in cooler climates.

For those wanting to grow slightly more tropical Annonas in a slightly cooler climate then there is the suggest of a micro climate setup.
Incorporate sun, heat mass, water, planting location etc etc.

There are many kinds of Achariau in Bolivia. Here another one that is a bit sweeter than the smooth skin one. Achiariau rugosa

Thanks for the interesting post. Any more info on the Duguetia sp. (image 2)? All the Dugentias I saw online were shaped like the first picture, so that one is intriguing.

Yes it is a mystery. The place where I found it has a botanist and he assured me that it is a Duguetia, even so from the fruit and leaves it looks more like a Guatteria. When I get a positive ID of it will post it!

Hi Dada, we got confirmation the N*2 is NOT an Annonacea. So for sure not a duguetia!

Heimo Rainer confirmed as well.

All the best,

Giampaolo

Could it be an Uvaria of some sort? They are an annona relative with a grape like look.

If you cut a seed in half and the interior looks similar to this below then its an Annonaceae, they have a distinctive interior.  If its not like a back skeleton so to speak then its another family completely.
