Looking for a small amount of pollen for maybe about ten Dark Star flowers. Of course my first plant to reach maturity and flower is self sterile. Let me know what you got. Thanks so much.

I'm probably going to tear out my Natural mystic and replace it with S8. It has not revived since winter where everything else has. I liked the fruit a lot and self fertile but it seems dead.

My natural mystic is also fairly dormant. Do we not have enough heat? Everything else is growing great. Was thinking of pulling my NM as well.

Thanks, wish I had room for 65 gallon pots. I’ll keep it a 2 cuttings. With my limited space everything gets evaluated and it’s kinda a novelty variety for me considering how small the fruit is and how slow it grows.

So I’ve got a bunch of Frankies red and limited space to put them. Usually I’d run two cuttings in a #15 nursery pot but was thinking I could probably run 4 frankies since it’s a smaller dwarf of a dragon fruit plant. Is my logic flawed or since it’s such a smaller plant am I correct.

Can a dragon fruit cutting be all used up? What I mean is I have a fairly mature cutting that looks like it’s had growth out of every single spine at one time or another that’s not sprouting any new growth. It’s well rooted and healthy. It initially put out two branches but they broke off due to dog but now it just looks super dormant for almost the whole growing season.

I’d also say American beauty for an addition. No idea of root biology. It’s played nice so far in my mixed planters.

Beautiful garden! I also found it to be a much cooler summer than usual in coastal CA. Probably the coolest in ten years. Despite what what the records say it was way off the actual temps.

I’ve had great growth out of frankies red despite its reputation. Godzilla has grown well too and looks so cool and massive. Desert king is the fastest growing. No fruit yet. Yellow Thai is taking its sweet time to root, a few months.

Cherimoya are grown outdoor in my area of CA coast. It’s rarely over a 100f and rarely under 40f but does get down the upper 20’s low 30’s on occasion. Not sure of the damage it does but local farmers seem to have crops available every year. Sounds like it will be possible.

Alright, I’ll not worry. It did kill a few new growths but that happens. I did a quick spray with copper. I get tons of fog and moisture here a few hundred feet from the beach. Just wanted to make sure I identified the issue and I wasn’t missing a growing problem.

That’s why I planted self fertile, lol. Some is definitely going to hang into the neighbors yard. They can help themselves.
