While I did not find info on this

What are peoples tips to search rare stuff

I did just search neomytranthes , and found a relative

I will look into it a little later when I have time

Also I looked up the SYNonym works sometimes ,
but that didn't work well yet.
Sometimes the older information is more available online then the newer
Also searching in another language of common name sometimes helps
(some Chinese stuff is like that with Latin names at least with Loquat relative  it has been for me ,
and is not easy to read of in English since have to google translate little by little since it's a 3600 letter limit or something
best to do that with multiple tabs open as can just read it through without stopping every minute .. )

Quickly  I think it is in these area's if you plan to look into the area?

I do not know anything about it,
I didn't google translate much about it

Paulo César Vinha State Park, Rodovia ES-060, Km 37,5, s/n - Setiba, ES, 29222-360, Brazil

Lagoa de Caraís - Guarapari, ES, Brazil

Restinga Trail
is the main trail of the Paulo Cesar State Park Vineyard on this trail visitors have free access or may be accompanied by a local driver, this driving must be scheduled and the value may vary according to the number of people. The guides accompany visitors to the lagoon and viewpoint of Carais passing a lot of information about the history and local ecosystem.

here there is a description of the species in Portuguese. Does not seem a very tasty Myrtacea.
http://www.colecionandofrutas.com.br/neomitranthesobscura.htm

I would rather try N. glomerata, the flavor description seems more interesting (a mix of jabuticaba with cinnamon).
