My lone atemoya fruit this year. Is this fruit ready to be picked, how do you know when it’s ready to be picked.

How old is your tree?

This is a second year. I removed a lot of baby fruit and only keep this one.

MasOlas:
Wow that’s impressive. Thick branches! Hope mine does as well it’s only a couple of feet tall after a year.

Once they become very slightly soft I pick them.  Sometimes they fall off, but they are fine if you catch them within a day or two.   At least for my short tree :)

They also turn a slightly yellower shade of green when they are ripe
