I have a friend who really wants to get some paw paw fruit and want to ask if there is a place to buy fresh pawpaw

Its notoriously hard to ship due to being soft and quick to rot

if youre in the mid-eastern to eastern USA you might be able to find a pawpaw festival!

They ship very poorly

Buy frozen pulp and it is a very similar experience to fresh

My experience has not been that paw paw seeds are not delicate or quick to rot. They have to be stratified, this mean they have to survive at least one winter on or in the ground. I have planted seeds that took 2 years to sprout. That is a pretty hardy seed. I ordered the seeds from Peaceful Heritage Nursery.

I do have access to some fresh PawPaw and just recently got a few, but they are relatively soft and may not survive the shipping process.
They are in season now, I'm not opposed to ship just know it may not survive depending how!

cooking pawpaw including dehydrating causes GI issues in some people, ask me how I know haha
I'm not sure if freeze drying will have the same effect

There are sellers on Etsy.com, price is expensive though, $25 and up for 1 lbs, which is usually only 2-3 paw-paws.
