I picked a bunch of Sapodilla today from 2 different trees and was looking for help in ID'ing them.
Here is the lineup!
Here is a known Silas Woods for comparison:
Next up is 1st unknown... Note the consistent oblong shape.
Consistently these size
Here is 2nd unknown! Largest I have ever seen. Fatty, stubby, mammoths! Consistently behemoths on the tree weighing in at around 1 1/4- 1 1/2+ Lbs. Also VERY juicy and brown sugary. Just melt in your mouth texture!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Physical Graffiti Dragon Fruit Self-Fertile???

The other day I noticed a single white flower on what was sold as a Physical Graffiti from ECHO...
I have researched in the past when we got it and read it was self-sterile and needed other dragon fruit for pollination to produce, however we have no other flowering dragon fruit and this is the only flower on the plant as of now. The flower seems to be developing into a fruit so does this seem to be Physical Graffiti or another dragon fruit?
Or are we in for disappointment when the flower suddenly drops

Temperate Fruit Discussion / What happens if you graft a high chill hour scion onto a low chill hour tree?

Does anybody have any experience, especially in southern Florida with grafting a high chill hour scion onto a low chill hour tree/rootstock? Just curious if there is potential to get a say 200-400 chill hour fruit to produce if grafted onto a low 100ish chill hour requirement tree? Anybody who has tried any of these kind of experiments please share your experiences!
