Just saw my first fruit set on my real deal Inga edulis tree. Has anyone seen Inga edulis fruiting in Florida before? I was hoping for my gold medal if I can get it to mature.

How many trees do you have? Do you have a pollinator. How big and old is your tree? Congratulations!

Congats!!!
How many years did it take to fruit?
I have an Inga spectabilis I'm about to put into a food forest project
I think Mike from TreeNmore has some type of inga tree, he was selling boxes of fruit a few years ago

This was the only thing flowering at the time. I am hoping to graft on some different I. edulis seedlings to help cross pollinate. One fruitset is all I can spot right now but there were TONS and TONS of flowers. I'm sure cross pollination would help.
Mike's Inga is possible Inga vera which seems to be pretty common in Florida.
The tree is skirted up and is probably about 20 feet tall. I don't remember how old it is.

Mine is huge(in my opinion(that's what she said)) and about 5 years old. Provided the cold month doesn't knock it back again I am hoping for fruit in the spring. Purposely not pruning it.

Congrats, I started eating mine this past weekend.
Grown in a pot, had several pounds of pods.
