I just saw one in Vista, at a place called CA Tropical Fruit Trees -- some large villa at the top of a residential hill, but with thousands of trees in the back.  They've got a lot of stuff, including lots of mulberry trees.  I sampled a white Pakistan that tasted amazing, but it was a 25-gallon tree, so way out of my price range.  I actually bought a smaller regular Pakistan mulberry while I was there.

Mulberry is very easy to root from cutting.  Just buy couple scions from the member and root them.  You should get some fruit very soon.

I got a tree off craigslist. White mulberry cannot be rooted from cuttings, they have to be grafted said the guy that sold to me. That's why they tend to be more expensive than their counterpart, the black pakistan.

Black mulberries are hard to root from cuttings. White mulberries are easy to root from cuttings. Then you graft the black mulberries on it. Hope you didn't pay too much for yours.

It’s the reverse. Blacks are easy to root.

From what I've read, Morus nigra is near impossible to root. There are many black-fruited Morus alba that root easily, but the white shahtoot Morus alba (?) is very difficult to root.

Someone grafted a white one onto rooted black cutting for me.  The tree is still small or I would sell some scions.
