what kind of Orange is this?

I am trying to figure out what kind of orange tree this is. There are naval and no naval on this tree both on the same branch. Some have seeds. Some don’t I’ll being on the same branch. But the majority of the oranges do not have a navel.
I don’t think there are any grafted branches on here as both kinds of oranges are on the same branch, we do have a naval orange tree down below this, but this one’s just mixed up.

here are 3 oranges from the same tree. I went through 200 oranges to find the one Navel pictured here. I guess I gave most of the ones with navels away yesterday.

This is the tree and 2 oranges on the same branch of the tree, one with Navel one without.

My guess is that you have a navel that has mostly reverted back. The original navel was a bud sport and they are notorious for genetic hiccups like this because the genetics are not as stable.

Yup, I agree with Sam. Many of my navel orange varieties do this, even the Cara Cara navel orange on the same branch will either have a navel or none.

But you would never see a navel on a Valencia orange, or that would be different. I have 4 different Valencia orange varieties and none have navel fruits.

when you say reverted, what would it revert back to?

I know banana plants, especially dwarfs sometimes revert back to full size(also called sports), but what does the navel revert back to?

Galatians522:
It reverts back to an orange withot the navel. The navel is actually a second orange that forms within the orange. I don't know for sure what variety the original Navel tree mutated from, but supposedly it was a Portugese variety called Selecta.
