Pico and Edwards Mango
« on: June 22, 2017, 01:23:17 AM »
Hi,

Pico mango is mango variety in the Philippines. It is believed that this variety was introduced in Mexico in the Galleon trade.  It is an indo chinese mango variety. It is sour when green and very sweet when ripe much like carabao mango. Though being sold commercially, they are very cheap, being sold at .50 cents per kilo.

Another mango variety that was introduced by Oscar here in the Philippines is Edwards mango. Been collecting mango varieties that have carabao mango as cross. So far i have edwards, leonida and big boy.

Regards,

Berns
