Bacopa monnieri

(1/1)

agroventuresperu:
Who has experience propagating this plant? I received a few seeds and many germinated, and now they are about a centimeter tall.

I've been keeping their seed tray in a bin with standing water so that the bottom of the seed tray is always in standing water. I don't fully submerge the plants themselves, but occasionally allow the water to crest the soil surface. I've been doing good keeping them out of heavy rain to prevent them from being dislodged. So far so good, but I was only confident that this approach was correct for the germination. Now that the seedlings are about a month old+ I'm not sure what is the best approach.

Do they do OK if you treat them just like mint or any other herb, or should they always be flooded throughout their life? Should you grow them underwater like as an aquarium plant? I've read conflicting information, so I'm not sure what to do.
