Right but the fruit is much rounder, this one looks like the the fruit and flowers are psidium, leaves look like syzygium, so confusing to me

I can't see it being  Syzygium and that foliage seems distinctive.

Yes I know the fruit doesn't quite match, and I know the leaves are unusual for Psidium. That's why I posted a Psidium with similar leaves. The Psidium says it's P. guajava but that could be wrong. It says it's from the Dominican Republic, so maybe Geeth's a related Caribbean Psidium species. The one on e-jardim could be a cross of that species with P. guajava.

For me the fruit look more like a feijoa . And feijoa are close relates to Syzygium and Psidium of them are in the same family Myrtaceae opening up the fruit I think we'll give more clues of which of the three it is ? I'm leaning more tours feijoa 60% , Psidium 30% and Syzygium 10% .

Feijoa fruit is rounder and more blue, it also had fuzz. This fruit is gourd shaped. Did you ever pay any attention to the leaves and flowers? The feijoa leaves are circle to oval shaped, these are clearly longer and greener. These flowers are white with no petals visible, feijoa have red flowers, with petals.

Thinking about it a little longer more likely to be Psidium because feijoa flowers usually have red / pink not solid white so I go with Psidium 60% then Syzygium 35% lastly feijoa 5% last update
