Potting Soil Mix
« on: January 19, 2024, 04:02:05 PM »
Any recommendations on a good affordable general use potting soil mix?  I've been using a mix of peat moss, compost, and perlite.  This is starting to get pretty expensive as I am starting to expand my collection and number of plants though, mainly due to the perlite.  Would be interested to hear what has worked well for others.

Thanks!

I would see if there are any sources of truckload delivery of "raised bed mix".
Then get the Perlite on Amazon. You can get 4 CF bags cheaper than smaller bags.

Potting mix with sand makes it nice & loamy.  Only drawback being sand is quite heavy
