How long do you normally take cuttings for this time of year? I have a few avocado seedlings that may be ready to graft soon.

Thanks,
Dan

I am cutting off ends of branches where new buds are forming, 4-6 inches long.

If you got a cross between sharwill and zutano.
I would be interested in testing it if you have any scions left in February.

Thank you for the info, I should have clarified that I meant length of season for pruning (late-Dec, early-Feb, etc.)
But i will definitely let you know soon, interested in a few grafts. Thanks.

You sure it's not sharwil grafted to zutano rootstock?  Post a picture of the fruit if you have one.

I'm in for some san miguel scions in January if they are still available.

Received scions a few days back. They all look good, packaged as per my instructions, and all healthy scions with many buds pushing. Also thanks for the extras. Very good seller.

Worst seller I ever had to deal with, paid this dude on Dec 15. He kept promising he will be sending them to me. Never sent anything just kept saying that he will send them to me and never did anything. I don't get people like this, you pay them and they just keep giving you false hope that your product will be shipped and worst yet they waste your time.
