After the Tropical Fruit Forum was down for several days I noticed that I had to reregister in order to place new postings. If you can't post you will need to reregister.
-
It seems to be working okay for me. I know a few hours of content was lost, maybe a days worth. But I haven't yet seen the issue you describe. It might only be affecting some users
-
Before you do that, I would try to use the password recovery tool: https://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?action=reminder
-
I had to sign-in again, but I did not have to register again. So, it was only a matter of remembering my password.
-
Images seemed blocked for me in Australia. Might be a hosting / domain issue ?? or certificate issue ??
I can see the images from Mikkel here
https://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=45382.0
but not from others.
Anyone else having problems ?

Millet, how did you re-registered keeping the same pseudo?
I had to change mine because my pseudo is said "already used"!
When I tried to log with the first count and asked to change the password it answered "we send you a mail" but never received it.

I doubt that's possible, Millet likely got some higher-level help recovering his account. Forum software usually doesn't allow duplicate names or email addresses, you have to start over if you cannot recover the existing account. Make sure you are using the email you signed up with (try to recover with other email address you own, if you aren't certain) and are checking Spam/Bulk folders for the recovery email.

I received no help from anyone. I just reregistered using my old password It went right through.

I didn't have any problem... strange. :)

If you used your old password, you just recovered your existing profile. Your issue was likely due to the http/https problem that was fixed when Patrick forwarded all http requests to https.
Their issue has them trying to create a *new* profile because they lost their old password. The forum software won't allow duplicate profile names/handles, so they won't be able to do that (and they'd lose all their profile points/karma). There's no "reregistering" to regain your old profile, unfortunately. A new profile will be exactly that.

OK. This time I succeeded!
I received the mail and it even accepted the old password.
Usually when one ask to change his password the old password is refused...
Now I shall try to suppress the new account.
Few minutes later: I didn't find a way to suppress an account :-( .
