Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Looking to buy cherimoya seed
« on: February 04, 2016, 06:26:27 PM »
I'm looking to buy some cherimoya seed probably around 300 seed of with white , booth, or pierce , but prefer white if I can get it .

Hi I'm looking for a airlayer of sweet cliff lychee to add to my collection. Let me know if you have anything for sale .

I have a miracle fruit tree that blooms continuously from spring to fall, however the flowers never seem to develop into fruit . I'm assuming that no insects are pollinating the flowers. What is the normal insect for these ? Bees , ants,?  Can they be hand pollinated ?  Is lack of humidity a factor ?

Shamus has some really good videos on growing tropical fruit trees in Phoenix. I found these videos to offer good advice since my summers in Visalia are close to the extreme heat that they get there. He also does multiple videos with Jake Mace . I encourage any who are interested to check them out.

Hello,  I have about 8 varieties of cherimoya trees and I'm getting frustrated with this whole " hand pollination " process. I never seem to get any flowers to set. I have been considering buying a pollination gun to try. The only thing I can think of that might be hindering the process would be my low humidity. I even went out the other day after that last rain storm and tried pollinating some flowers but to no availe. I do have a friend who grows a few varieties in a greenhouse and he gets many fruits every year without any hand pollination.  Any ideas on what could be the cause for no fruit set ?
