Anyone have any growing experience with the Japanese raisin tree? Since I cannot find a live plant I planned on ordering seeds online and germinating them myself. Any advice would be great! I am in zone 8b

EDIT: I meant to move this to the tropical section as this is frost tender

It is very far from frost-tender, so you're in the right spot. :)

Thank you!
Hopefully someone can chime in on taste profile, when to expect 'fruit', etc..

I Have one smaller tree living outside in my garden in the southern tip of Sweden, we have frost but not that much. I planted out last year and it has pushed very well this spring. Would also to know more about how many years for it to mature,

They taste a little like peanuts.
