They shit the bed with some of the backlogged grafted Mamey they are sending out. Mine had the tap root severed and had no chance of survival.
It took 3 weeks to receive a refund and was a total pain in the ass. I was not refunded the shipping cost either.
Look at this old bs.

I usually just let it fall off naturally or remove it well after the graft union has healed and pushed a good amount of growth.
Do you remove the parafilm or buddy tape after a certain amount of time? Or let it fall off naturally?
All are growing really well but a few are showing black spots under the parafilm (probably moisture got in). I'd hate to lose them to mold or girdling...or removing the parafilm too soon.I have always had good success with cleft grafts of any size.
I always wrap the scions with Parafilm or Buddy tape and keep them shaded as much as possible

Want hasn’t been know to be fruited outside of Indo yet , so not much to talk about.
It was a good fruit in Bali. Hopefully there are some reports back and sharing of bud wood and seeds once it’s known to be fruiting somewhere outside its native range. There are tree’s out there, should only be a matter of time.
