“Catherines Find” Eleagnus Cuttings
By far the best Eleagnus fruit I have tried.
Much larger than Goumi’s and so much tastier.
Very juicy and delicious.
Can fruit on their own but make much more fruit ( 100’s per bush) with a pollinator such as Goumi
Roots in soil pretty easy .

Have a row of Imbe’s all looking good and different color flushes on the different genetics. First flowers this year. I am following my friends guidance on annually topping this hedge to 4’ tall. His are highly productive and hedged that way.

I harvested alot of Guabiju fruits today, they are delicious and sweet. zero sour or astringency or off flavors.
It's wild the harvest is happening in April whereas years past it's started in November.
Quite a hardy tree and has been easy to grow . May prefer a more sub tropical climate than Tropical.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Garcinia ID ~ Lemon drop kind

A friend gave a couple fruits without ID. They are slightly fuzzy and bigger than any Lemon Drop mangosteen I tried before.
Also not nearly as sour. Not very sour at all in fact.
It was so big I thought it was maybe an Abiurana until I cracked it open while driving for a snack and was pleasantly surprised.
See here pictured next to some lilikoi and canistel.
