I harvested alot of Guabiju fruits today, they are delicious and sweet. zero sour or astringency or off flavors. It's wild the harvest is happening in April whereas years past it's started in November. Quite a hardy tree and has been easy to grow . May prefer a more sub tropical climate than Tropical.

It has been a cold and wet winter. Another atmospheric river coming and then I'll be pruning my Cherimoya tree's. They are 90% defoliated and dormant still. A good time for grafting with the impending warm weather .

A friend gave a couple fruits without ID. They are slightly fuzzy and bigger than any Lemon Drop mangosteen I tried before. Also not nearly as sour. Not very sour at all in fact. It was so big I thought it was maybe an Abiurana until I cracked it open while driving for a snack and was pleasantly surprised. See here pictured next to some lilikoi and canistel.
