Citrus General Discussion / Importing Citrus to USA from Japan

Hello,
I was curious if anyone has imported citrus trees from Japan to the USA. I tried to make sense of the CITEs and APHIS permit websites but I didn't quite grasp what I needed to do as a buyer. I am trying to purchase citrus trees from Japan but the inspection officer in Japan is saying citrus trees cannot be shipped to USA.

Hello I was looking at fruitsyfarms.com and saw the Ucuqui is sold out. Does anyone have any experience with this tree? It looks like it gets massive. Has anyone tasted it? Anyone growing it or have seeds they would be willing to sell? Otherwise I can wait for it to restock.

Just wanted to do a shout out to Montoso Gardens for having amazing Cocoa pods and seeds. I ordered from Bryan and it arrived just 3 days later. Very good germination rate from the seeds as well.
He's very responsive by email.

Hey all, I have bought a bunch of seeds from here and realized I need to clear out my greenhouse to make room for more!
All are started from seed, grown indoors under a lovely growlight in Vancouver, Wa. I dont have any permits, so buy at your own state risk, and can only ship within the USA.

8 - Toad tree (Tabernaemontana elegans) I didn't realize how easily they'd germinate, so I have a few for sale. I have no clue if they are self-fertile or not, the literature out there about them in scant. They are a little sun toasted, but all have at least 4 leaves, and they are growing new ones already. In quart pots.
$40 each +10$ S/H.  ~2 -5" tall





1 - red rambutan - 20$ +10$ S/H ~4" tall and going strong





5 - Chañar trees (Geoffroea decorticans) ~4" tall. Some mild scorched leaves - 25$ + 10$ S/H
