54° early this morning. Our lowest temp this fall, but back to warm temps tonight and following days.

Most definitely iguanas!  Let me share what's working for me so far, but one of these days the iguanas might figure things out!  I cut the bottoms from 15-gallon plastic pots and planted the papayas inside of them.

There are several articles about it online. Hass quality but small tree size.

I see that they were calling it "Marvel" but changed the name to Luna UCR.  The article says it will become available to home growers in time.  I will trust Brad and a few others to tell us if it's equal to Hass in flavor!

Thankful for my brand new patio forest and my family for supporting it. Also thankful for all the cool stuff I’ve gotten to try this year, Frank’s (FLNative) mangoes were the best I’ve ever had. Next year I should have much more to be thankful for once many of my trees start bearing.

What's a "patio forest?"  All your trees are in pots in the patio?

There's a Bailey Palm in Naples Botanical Gardens we admire when we visit.

I can imagine the thrill and inspiration (joy) of seeing your land come back to life.  I get excited over one little tree or plant!    Yes, keep sharing with pictures whenever you can.  (I love to see the mountains in the background too.  I miss the mountains living here.  Everybody loves to hate California, but it's a special place, in spite of current politics and all other issues.)

Hi @BayTropics, it's concerning when you have a reliable source like Adam at AKME Gardens, and there's a sudden lack of communication or delays in receiving your orders. Hopefully, he's doing fine, and there might be some unforeseen circumstances causing the delay. You could try reaching out to him directly to inquire about your order's status and his well-being.
By the way, if you're looking to enhance your garden experience, you might want to consider adding a small corner summer house. It can be a lovely addition to your garden, providing a cozy spot to relax and enjoy your outdoor space.

There was this lady in London, I believe.  She was a nutcase and was banned after a while.  And there was also bsbullie, who liked to insult and/or demean people but had much useful mango information, being a friend of the Zills.  He stopped participating on his own.

I will be presenting at the SB Horticultural Society about rare fruits on Nov 1st at 7pm next week. It's free. Most members of TFF will recognize everything I'm talking about and be bored, but figured I'd mention it anyhow if someone were in the area and wanted to check it out.

This stuff is never boring to us even the parts we know or have heard before!  The church doesn't like you very much?    Not very Christian of them.
