Still enjoying only the 'Keitts.' Some are so big that they are not easy to put-away/eat in one sitting.

Leo, That's a very nice problem to have with mangoes  ;) I'm still waiting for one to ripen on my tree...soon I hope!

Here's a late mango (here in the desert at least) that no one's mentioned yet -
Gold Nugget - it's my first so I'll report back on the taste (oh, I see Zands men-
tioned it in his opening remarks!).  Looks to me like it will be my next-to-last
variety to ripen at this point, with keitt being the hands down late season winner......
I've got about 6 of these still on the tree.

This one was picked from my "Scorchard" (get it?) - that would be my hot spot planted
with 5 mango trees draped with shade cloth next to my highly reflective driveway......
I'll report back after tasting it.....Cute little thing.......How did yours taste Zands?   Gary

Please report back on taste. Have you eaten GN from your tree previously?
I like Gold Nugget..... very good taste and a late mango. Though at least in my yard Keitt is the last mango.  GN comes in early-mid August and Kent after that...Then Keitt. My Gold Nugget fruits were off this year and were B quality until the last 20% when they improved. I am blaming the 2013-14 winter for throwing off the Gold Nugget blooming/fruiting cycle.
In 2013 all the GN fruits were very good

I have to be careful here, once I start talking about the 'Keitts,' I may not be able to stop since I'm so fond of this variety. But, be patient, it's worth it. To me this is a must have variety. I hope it does well for you in central Florida. Down here in S. Florida, USA, it's just crazy productive of huge, disease free fruit/tree.

Don't have any named varieties but I note several trees here in Bermuda still have a substantial aunt of fruit.  It seems this year was a late year for most.  Warmer than usual winter and unusually cool August (plus record 14.5 inches of rain last month).

Same here in the DR, un-sprayed trees (KNO3) seem out of sync,  we had a wet winter, and a cooler than normal Aug. our drought period also came very late,   so trees are all over the place in regards to harvest times.

Awesome spread JF, It would be wonderful if you could report back with your top three varieties. I wonder if Mallika will take top honors.

My Manila tree still has 9 fruit left... one is ready to be picked for breakfast tomorrow.  The cellphone pic doesn't do it justice, it's got a nice blush.  If I remember, I'll snap some pics when I eat it.

The flavor is much better this year, and it was pretty good last year.  The year before it was just "ok".

Nice pix
I still have 2 Haden, 4 Malika, 6or 7 Keitt and I found 2 small Irwin's that were hiding. Also, my Choc Anon flowered last month and I have 5 small fruits after 20or 30 dropping they should ripen by late November or December

3 Nam Doc Mai and 2 Pickering still left....

Had a Carrie off my tree last week.... A little Tart, Ultra Sweet, and that Complimenting Pine flavor near the skin made this easily the best Mango I have tryed to date....This was from a 7g tree...I have hopes it will only get better with time.... I did notice this wierd chalky texture to the Mango...not really sure if I like that or not.

Clay,
If Carrie was easily number one for you (your description is what I remember Carrie tasting like, but without the chalkiness)....did you think Alphonso and Pirie from a few months ago were close behind (like 2nd and 3rd place)?

btw, as of today, I have 2 Glenns and 1 Keitt left.  I just picked the sole VP.  None of these make my top 5 list, but they are still pretty good compared to store bought mangos.
