« on: December 06, 2016, 11:37:36 PM »
I've been looking for seeds of Davidsons plum, Davidsonia pruriens for a long time. Any leads would be appreciated.

They not that great, I have a big tree and trying to get rid of it as fruits are just not edible out of hand.

Apparently it makes an excellent jam, Don. Never tried it myself, but going to make some when the fruit matures. I've been doing nothing with the fruit also, far too sour for eating out of hand. Mind you, I did try, got half way through one and that was enough.

But they look so cool!  8)  Have you tried them with miracle fruit like the Daley's video? Are all the species as sour? I bet there are some great nutritional benefits in them.

The jam is awesome. I  bought some davidson plum and macadamia jam. Yum. Very sour raw though.

Yes I will have enough to make some jam this year, I saw some at TFW on the Gold Coast a few months ago and forgot to grab a bottle on the way out.
Any big deal on the black Turmeric? I have the red and orange varieties.
