Rare Frozen Fruit
« on: June 17, 2020, 06:16:16 PM »
Just letting people who live in San Diego know, I just picked up some fresh frozen langsats and santols at Seafood City. While there I also saw that they had frozen purple star apple, soursop, sapodillas, and bilimbis. I don't think it would be easy to get the fresh versions of some of these so for anyone who wants the next best thing, go to Seafood City in Mira Mesa. They occasionally have some good varieties of mangos as well.

I once saw frozen salak at the Asian market. I didn't know what it was back then so I didn't buy it... I wish I did though.

How do they taste? Do they hold up after being frozen?
