Any fruits that can be grown in Kona but not Hilo?

Curious about the difference, I know Hilo gets all of the rain but then that potentially causes issues with some plants.

I assume you’re referring broadly to Hilo side or Kona side, both areas have a variety of elevations and microclimates. With irrigation in Kona, the biggest difference is rainfall patterns and humidity.

Kona area mangoes, coffee or anything that likes drying out for flower initiation will do better.

Kona side gets better results with most mangoes, figs, and dates. Also havent seen productive pomegranates in hilo side
