Frankies red dragon fruit question
« on: May 09, 2022, 04:54:20 PM »
So I’ve got a bunch of Frankies red and limited space to put them.  Usually I’d run two cuttings in a #15 nursery pot but was thinking I could probably run 4 frankies since it’s a smaller dwarf of a dragon fruit plant.  Is my logic flawed or since it’s such a smaller plant am I correct.

Frankies Red is a slow growing Dragonfruit but the larger the pot, the better. I use 65 gallon containers for my DF but you can grow and fruit FR in a #15. You will get a lot more fruit and not have to water as often in a larger pot.

Thanks, wish I had room for 65 gallon pots.  I’ll keep it a 2 cuttings.  With my limited space everything gets evaluated and it’s kinda a novelty variety for me considering how small the fruit is and how slow it grows.
