Ok, phewf. I was worried for my new landlord's trees. This is the first time they have flowered for him... 30 years after planting. Must have been seedlings. Really curious how they turn out.

Any recommendations other than regular water to ensure fruit set?

They like plenty of mulch and water.  And also acidic soil.  Try sulfer, iron sulfate, that type of thing.

Hak Ip first time flowering.
No flowers on 2 Sweet Heart trees in pots.

My Mauritius lychee tree started flowering in December 2024 hear in SoCal and as you can see has some dormandt blooms in January 2025. The tree is still young and just now starting its 5th year in the ground. Will see if it actually holds any fruit this year. Interesting my Brewster has no flowers and is still lush green.
