Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Yangmei (Morella/Myrica rubra) thread

Anywhere in the US one can buy Yangmei trees?  Tried group order, all died.  Asked friends to buy in China as experiments, either dead on arrival or died after a few weeks.  Don't quite trust international order.

False hope, all dead.  Guess I'd have to try it again next year.  Overhead cover is not good enough.

Mine finally start to bud it seems, all six of them.  Will post pictures in a few days if I see anything green. For those who are still waiting, don't give up just yet.  FYI, I never put the pots indoors.  It's been outside with plastic overhead cover since day one, going through all the storms we had in the bay area.

This time trees are very clean, no nematodes and other pests were found by USDA.
I am heading back to home and will package the trees for folks.

Thanks, bill

This is great!  Can local folks pick them up tonight?

May I confirm local pickup is an option for bay area residents?  Will send payment once confirmed.  Thanks.
Yes, Bay Area local pickup will be in Campbell, Ca 95008, as we did in the past two rounds.

Thank you, bill

Cool, order #43 paid through Zelle.

Any update on the order?

Updated.  Thanks.

Wondering if the farm you are ordering from has anything else for sale.  I'm especially interested in some of the popular varieties of Lychee in China.  Varieties we can buy here were imported more than 100 years ago and they taste nothing like those in China.
