Hey all,

I have kept a Syzygium jambos plant for two years now indoors. I noticed that the leaves have started getting bumpy and I noticed a red mark on one of the leaves. Please let me know what this could be and how to treat organically since it’s growing indoors only. Since it placed by a south facing window it is getting a good amount of heat in Michigan and the environment at home is humid.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Please Help with my Ice Cream Bean Plant!!!
« on: September 03, 2022, 03:55:23 PM »
Please assist any plant expert or anyone else! My ice cream bean plant has been growing well in Michigan for about 2 years now in a pot. I was waiting all summer for my plant to perhaps push out new leaves. This summer, it pushed out new leaves which looked sort of dry. This was never an issue before because it always produced healthy leaves. I’ve been keeping it in good-draining potting soil. In the past, it has been grown well in coconut coir, peat, perlite, and whatever else. Please see how the leaves look and address any deficiencies they may have so I can save this plant. It was so healthy before, and now I don’t know what to do.

Hello,

I bought a plant recently which was labeled as Garcinia Brasiliensis (superior lemon drop mangosteen). Can someone please identify by the pics by what kind of Garcinia species this is? Since I’m not so sure if it is the right plant.

Hello guys I’m new to this forum! I’m very interested in growing tropical fruits, which is something new to me. If anyone can send me a free grumichama seed to try, since I’m kind of interested in them. Haha I don’t know but it would be nice if anyone could ship to me!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Superior Lemondrop Mangosteen?

Hey I have a superior lemondrop mangosteen that I bought from Etsy. It hasn’t grown at all and it has been more than a month. Do you recommend I should use Hollytone for it? Or is it better to wait because you said it is slow growing. If I could send a pic to you let me know how I can send. Also I’m not so sure if this even is a superior lemon drop so let me know!

I bought a garcinia brasiliensis(superior lemondrop mangosteen). I’m not sure if the leaves are identical to the superior lemondrop species or if it is a compalately different plant I have. Please let me know if it is the right plant I have.
