Please ID lychee

I bought these at the Asian market. They have chicken tongues and taste pretty good, better than the smooth skinned ones, which I think are Mauritius.

It's really difficult to tell without tasting it and seeing the inside but it may be Groff based on size and chicken tongue seed. It could also be Kwai Mai Red or Pink. Which Asian market did you get them from. Actually, I don't think they grow Groff commercially due to small size, it's more likely a Kwai Mai Red. Did it have good Lychee/Rose smell and taste or did you detect any Cinnamon flavor?

Thanks, Simon. the good ones are sweet, and have some rose smell to them. I bought them at Mom Market. Sometimes they have this kind, sometimes they have the smooth skinned ones. If I get them again, I'll make sure to take a picture of an opened one.
