ChipDrop for free tree trimmers mulch

I am in Broward County. I just spoke to a neighbor who had them drop chips in her driveway and they looked good.

Can certain types of chips cause problems?

Im guessing its luck of the draw for wood types.

Yes.  Sometimes you get seeds from some bad invasive plants.  You may be able to, if it is the same service I used in the past, be specific about what you will not take such as palms..  The main consideration is you should have a place to let the mulch sit.

Eucalyptus is a problem here in CA and I avoid it. The dump mulch is full of it, and agave, and lots of herbicides and things so I avoid it. I just ask the trimmers to not bring anything with euc in it and they brought some nice stuff last time.

I've always had great luck just calling around. Whenever I need a drop I google arborists near me and tell them I need a clean load of hardwoods and ask if they have any jobs in my area coming up. I always tip, too.
I've had good luck with tree tech and lumberjack jake (tell him that the hugelkulture guy sent you; he'll know it's me)
