Lol. Got a little less lazy and did some reading. Apparently Wichita is the best followed by Mohawk and Mahan.

There is a gentleman in Costa Mesa who advertises a variety of tropical fruit trees who has quite a few varieties he grafts up. Usually advertises mulberries and annonas. Don't have his contact info. He loves grafting and producing trees including finger limes with multiple different varieties grafted to the same rootstock.

I have not tasted a fresh one, only frozen pulp. That was really tasty. Had a very strong flavor and moist, likely due to added water. It is probably a love it or hate it like durian.

Found a very nice Bruce canistel at a local nursery. Will be in the ground by this weekend. Has been raised outdoor in a 15 gallon very near my property and has flowers. Will keep my eyes open for other canistel varieties, Ross and green Sapote. Ended up getting an Oscar mulberry and a couple of nice papaya trees at the same place. Only Lucuma I can find are young seedlings.

Been putting in an orchard at my new home in northern San Diego county. Would like to grow Canistel, Lucuma, and green sapote. Need suggestions on cultivars and suggestions on nurseries that might have those cultivars. Ross sapote also on list if it does well in this climate.

I have been ordering my potting and planter mix soil from suppliers that sell by the cubic yard and deliver. Way cheaper than buying bags at a garden supply. Could save a lot more if I was willing to mix my own but my bones are getting older too.

New member with first post. I moved to Bonsall from Orange County this fall and have started my new orchard. Would like to put in a few more cultivars of cherimoya and atemoya but cannot find anyone selling grafted Sabor, Big Sister, Luciida, Nata or Behl. Would be looking for scion wood too but presently have no seedlings to graft to due to moving. Also interested in newest atemoya  varieties like super Lisa etc.., superior wax Jambu, moist Lucuma cultivars etc.. have checked most sources from CRFG without luck. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Already have El bumpo, Pierce, Honeyheart, Chaffey, White, Fino de jets and AP Atemoya.
