It remindpouteria ucuquis me of a Pouteria ucuqui I pickd up locally and it was as big as a mammey and had greenish orange flesh. I should never have given the seedling away as it was a great fruit.

Hmmm....

Do you know where that seedling got to after you gave it away, Mike?  Is it even still alive?

Sounds to me like it really ought to be propogated!

My typing is becoming terrible. I can't even remember who I passed the seedling on to.. I do recall it was being sold as green fleshed mamey and the it was sources from around Mossman. The trail went cold and That's all I know. The single big seed inside was a whopper.
I will make the same observation as others in that this white fleshed GS looks a lot like avo alright.

Hi Raul,

Any idea how cold tolerant is this rare green sapote? Down to what temperature? At what altitude is it growing? Thanks for the info.

Hey Raul -
Hope all is well with you. It's pretty well established that TFF's messaging system is on the blink, so this note is my best effort to catch your eye, with any luck.

I was part of the original group of folks here who placed an order for the P. Viridis, but also for the jumbo Luc's seeds you offered. I was fine with you waiting to ship the two together, but at this point I should probably just take immediate delivery of the GS if this can still happen. As for the Luc's - Kenny suggested elsewhere on the board that they may not be available in any case - due to weather?

I've never had any trouble with your follow up during this whole process up to now, and genuinely wish that everything is OK on your end. I look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to reach me by email if you happen to see this note.

Best,
Chris (surfshaq@gmail.com)
