buy seeds and sow in 100% vermiculite

I have heard they are not a great fruit but birds like them, Eugenia sprout pretty readily and you will only be losing a year

Eugenia always seem to fruit better with multiple trees
I have a E candolleana that has 500 flowers multiple times a year and I
end up with less then 50 fruit.

I had the same issue with E involucrata
Now that I have multiple trees flowering the fruit set is much better.
I do have 2 E. repanda next to each other and last year they flowered
and produce very small fruit. Hopefully this year the fruit will size up?
I also have another E candolleana that is flowering now and hopefully will
improve this year's fruit set

Another user on the forum told me last year that Eugenia repanda needs a cross-pollinator. He was interested in some of the seedlings I had for sale and wanted to make sure he could get multiple E. repandas from me, otherwise he would never get good fruit production from a solitary plant.

This is all great information, I appreciate all of your responses. Looks like I'm buying seeds.
