Sexing Melicoccus bijugatus (Spanish Lime)

Is there any easy  way to sex Melicoccus bijugatus to tell whether it is male, female, or bisexual.

I understand this species tends to be dioecious but that some individuals do produce perfect flowers.

I suspect there may be some way to tell without having to wait for a tree to mature enough to produce flowers.

Since first posting this query I've done several online searches to try to find out whether there is/are any physical difference(s) apparent between the male and female plants of this species (other than the flowers). 

So far no luck.  So I am still hoping that one of our TFF mavens will have some ideas.

I believe you have to see the flowers or get an improved variety and only need one tree then.  it's called pabon if i remember correctly.
