What is this on my sugar apple trees i just bought.

White flies.
Crush them with your fingers.
Spray water on leaves to wash off eggs and saps.

They attack my guava trees often.

Thanks i hosed them and will adress everyone that comes back with extreme prejudice. Any idea on the soot looking mild.

If that is really whitefly, hosing off is useless.  The black is sooty mold from the pest's excrement.

I tried Spinosad and a pyrethrins/sulfur product against these stupid things multiple times this year and neither seemed to really work! I don’t think pipperidin butoxide was very effective either.. I think the neem is what finally got em.

Used neem spray and dish soap. Will treat again in 7 days.
