Garcinia Madruno

Hi everyone,

I have just planted a G. Madruno in ground at my place, 300ft elevation Kailua Kona hawaii. It has just started flowering. From everything I know I have a a couple male flowers. The mother tree that I planted this one from is on its own and assuming its herm and is a prolific fruiter. Wondering if anyone knows if seed would be herm. What what I have researched g. Madruno is dioecious

It may have a slightly better chance to pass that trait on but really its luck of the draw with seeds.

Yeah that's what I was figuring. Thankfully I have many other seedlings from the same mother tree just a few years behind this one
