I got 2 lacatans. They are fairly small. I also got the sugarloaf pineapples.

Probably 2-3 yrs these bananas will produce. I live in the valley so It will be little harsh compare to your area.

Have you seen the yellow fruits on your tree ?

I do have a Lisa tree and it grows slow, not as vigorous as the Birula grafted trees.

Yellow birula. Once they start to ripen the color changes to yellow.

I know i uploaded yellow birula somewhere in TFF.

If i recall correctly, birula is a seedling of lisa where JF obtained from exotica nursery. I got to confirm with him.

Birula aka super lisa is more prolific than lisa.

Yellow birula which JF claimed was a budsport of birula. I am currently growing it & approx 50 fruits on it.

I got a lakatan from them a while back in a mixed banana bundle. They were all really small. Like 6 or 7 inches tall. I probably planted them a little to close to each other in a banana circle. The grand nain took off. It's got a bunch ripening right now. The dwarf namwah took off. It's got a bunch ripening. (And the biggest trunk ever on a banana stalk, like 14"+ at the base. It's fantastic)... The lakatan has grown to about 24" and skinny at that. I'm sure it needs more sun. Maybe I'll move it someday... at least it will be easy to carry when I do.

pls take photos of the lacatan.

By any chance, are you growing saba variety or any nurseries that have it there?

That’s a great combination and a great price too. Good luck on your sale!

Simon

Thanks Simon. Afyer years of growing I finally found the best recipe of growing trees. It all comes with the soil for a better chance of growth & survival. At least, its not growing on compost. 🤣

Dream was best once.
Sweet and a little tart with firm texture.
The fruits tend split a few hours after winter rain so no good.
Difficult to get good fruits in my yard.

TS and prolific were best in my yard last year.
Had a sharp sweetness that I liked.

Gefner was sweet but bland sweetness.
My parents liked it.

Lisa tend to split 5 hours after winter rain.
AP2 was good the year before.
Ok last year.

I have HI PM.
It’s weakest on my multi grafted tree.
A fake.

I have a real PM that turns out to be fake.
Flowers and fruits look like AP

Both fake PM came from same seller.

Do you have a picture of HI PM fruit.

So who os this fake seller?

Sweetie is dream atemoya.

How certain are you that sweetie is dream?

That means Silber stole & renamed the variety?

It looks oddly familiar. There seems to be new atemoyas around now and then that just disappear after rave reviews.

Mike T - do you this variety was a renamed variety?

Here is 10 variety of atemoya. SSA very similar to Lindstrom/Mr Minh and Pink Mammoth in appearance but taste different. It could be a seedling.

What is Lisa Bep? Papayatreenursery also has Sweetie atemoya.. wondering whats the real name? :D

I wonder how does MST compare to that wax green jumbo(except the size & color but in terms of flavor & sweetness)?
