Separate and transplant soursop seedling

I planted several seeds in the same pot and many (abut 10) germinated and grew past the dreaded 6 inch (dreaded for me because at about that height I tend to lose many annona seedlings to wilt or rabbits).
I could pull some leaving two plants in the pot but I would like to retain as many as I can.  Is there a good age for separating soursop seedlings?  I will need to repot soon anyway but separating will disturb the roots much more.

I would separate them as soon as you can once they are at least a few inches tall.  Just be careful and hope for the best.   I think you'll be fine.

How large were the seedlings when you separated them?

Just separated 4 of them from a 3 gallon bag. 2 of them are about 2 feet tall and the other 2 about 1 foot tall. They've been in water for 4 days no problem. It's not humidity that kills em can tell you that, but they hate cold.

About 4 inches. By the time they were out most were bare rooted. They didn't wilt down. I replanted immediately.
