I saw those flowers growing in Ormond beach, close to golden lion cafe. I took pics but didn't know they are edible.

I have fruiting trees in San Diego.
I don't know... I had a yellow one. Little flesh, horribly fibrous and ripening takes at least a year of hanging on the tree.June plum
I find June plum (Spondias dulcis), the yellow/ orange type when ripe are excellent. A delicious sweet tart balance- almost insatiable. Top 5 fruits for me. The red ripe type while much sweeter, has very little flesh.
