Got mine too, thanks again!Great to hear, enjoy! 😁
They seem to hate direct sunlight. They get leaf burns all the time. Its my bad for not doing research before planting them in ground lol
The light shade cover isn't enough. They still get burn
Stick 'em in full shade or have higher % shade cloth. They scorch easily here as well when young.
They just arrived and are much bigger than expected! Thanks so much!Great to hear! They can grow at least 10ft tall so I do hope you have a spot lol. Good luck!Hopefully they don't grow too big too quickly, haha
No, it should be a thinner, pointed leaf. Your seedling probably went back to cherimoya characteristics.Ah I see. So this is the cherimoya character showing. It's very cool to see it suddenly making rounded leaf 😆
I really won? NiCE. Thanks Rain. I watched your review of loquats, subscribed.Hey thanks for watching and subscribed. Your package is sent.

Update on my Yangmei trees.
First one here is a Cocktail tree grafted with Dongkui, Black Crystal, and Late Growing/late crystal on Californica rootstock. All the graft unions got buried. So maybe now its all formed its own root systems. Still looking healthy so far.
Next is a imported Black Carbon. Doing very well
Last one is Dongkui grafted on Californica. This tree is recovering from transplant.
I think I should be able to get some fruits next year
Hey Simon. Do Yangmei want dry soil or want to be water all the time?
I believe consistent wet conditions is what brews the bacterial bad guys. A super well draining, very low organic matter soil mix would be my choice. I would think lots of sand, pumice, or mineral soils could be choice. I have one planted at the ranch in very well draining soil, and only water once a week despite being a small tree. It seems to be doing well. We'll see if it lasts (doubt it!)
