I used a bucket cloner before, very similar to Fast Roots. I found I could root cuttings just as fast in regular garden soil with rooting hormone & tossed the bucket deal...

No, kill the insect by squeezing it inside the leaves, then treat it with Bayer.

All you can do now is squeeze them with your finger. When grafting I always treat the rootstock with Bayer Advance before I graft & again after the graft starts to flush.

Almost all citrus will root very easy, but many do not do very well on their own roots.

Lol! Red grapefruit are fully hardy here in coastal SC. I have two I grew from seed that are over 25 ft tall & 16 years old. Never had any protection at all.

I have always used regular 10-10-10, when I'm fertilizing the lawn I'll also add a bunch of Milorganite around the tree's. I also load up on Epsom salt from the dollars store & add that to the lawn & trees a few times a year.

I have never had a dry Ponkan unless you leave it on the tree too long. The flesh is more firm than satsuma with a open center & has decent juice content.

Okay, well, I will not argue with your personal experience and observations. Maybe your citrus grafted on Flying Dragon are just growing extremely slow and so that is the reason.
